Wallenius Lines is an investor and active owner within the global shipping industry, specifically the international car and Ro-Ro segment which has become the trademark for Wallenius.

The company’s roots go back to the 1930s, when Olof Wallenius founded the business. His entrepreneurial spirit and drive for innovation laid the foundation for what is today a global operation with a strong focus on environmental responsibility, quality, and long-term development.

In 2003 Wallenius Lines restructured its operations and it’s sister company Wallenius Marine was founded. Wallenius Marine took over responsibility for technical management, ship design, newbuilding projects.

Wallenius Lines is part of the Soya Group and fully owned by Rederi AB Soya.
